This pack includes many of the whistles that NKP 765 has carried over the years, and also includes 5 bells
This is a whistle and bell pack for the G-Trax NKP S-2 Berkshire pack.
This pack includes many of the whistles NKP 765 has carried over the years.
INSTALLATION:
1. Extract all files.
2. Make a backup file and move the Berkshire.proxyxml and Berkshire_Whistle.proxyxml into it.
BELL INSTALLATION:
1. Make a copy of the Berkshire.proxyxml, and move the copy to where the original proxyxml was.
2. Copy the bell sound files into the G-TraX\Trains\Audio\RailVehicles\Steam\Berkshire folder.
3. Open the copied Berkshire.proxyxml and change the activation distance to 805. This will make the engine sounds be hear up to 1/2 a mile away. (805 meters equals roughly 1/2 mile)
4. Find the line ">G-TraX\Trains\Audio\RailVehicles\Steam\Berkshire\Berk_Bell_loop.dav.
5. Replace the Berk_Bell_loop.dav with the name of the bell of your choice. Example: NKP_Bell_1.wav
6. For the bell, change the to 100, and change the to 1000.
7. When you want to change the bell, simply redo step 5 with the bell you want to use.
WHISTLE INSTALLATION:
1. Copy and paste the Whistles folder into the G-TraX\Trains\Audio\RailVehicles\Steam\Berkshire\Cab folder.
2. Choose which whistle you want and copy the Berkshire_Whistle.proxyxml from that folder to the G-TraX\Trains\Audio\RailVehicles\Steam\Berkshire\Cab folder.
3. When you want to the whistle, simply redo step 2 with the whistle you want to use.
