MROWC - We Will Deliver by Colin (BoostedFridge)

MROWC.7z - 301 kb

2013 was a busy year for western railroading

Description

Thank you for downloading this scenario for Tomcat's Cajon-Mojave route, alpha version.

2013 was a busy year for western railroading.  Both BNSF and UP experienced higher traffic volumes on all of their major corridors.  As
a result, many older locomotives were pressed back into mainline service, lending horsepower to assist wherever the power desk needed.
Your train today is the MROWC, a heavy UP manifest from Roper Yard in Salt Lake City, to West Colton Yard in Los Angeles.  Your trio of
SD60M units have been fighting up the grade of the East side of Cajon Pass.  The rails will soon level out, and the challenging descent
to West Colton lies ahead.  You had best be steady on the brakes, or this heavy freight could soon get away from you!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Unzip this package to a temporary location.
Navigate to your railworks folder, then open the application titled "Utilities"
That will launch a dialog titled "Train Simulator Utilities"
Click on the Package Manager tab, then click on the Refresh button.
Once all the progress bars have finished, click on the Install button.
Navigate to wherever you extracted the download file and find the file titled MROWC.rwp
Click on the Open button.
The scenario will appear with the Cajon-Mojave Route under the 'Standard' route type.  The scenario name is "MROWC - We Will Deliver"

This scenario works with the base dependencies of the Cajon-Mojave route, by Tim Zorn (Tomcat).  Specifically, Sherman Hill, Stevens Pass,
and Pacific Surfliner.  The route is available in the file library at www.railworksamerica.com
Additionally the 'SD60M Repaint and Texture Upgrade Pack' is required.  It is available in the RWA file library
http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/engine-repaints?view=document&;id=2483:sd60m-repaint-and-texture-upgrade-pack&catid=18:engine-repaints
There are a lot of AI trains in this scenario, so weaker computers may struggle with frame rates.  All of AI and event timings are based
around the player running at, or under the track speed limits.  Speeding in the scenario will just result in less realistic AI operations.

I hope you enjoy the scenario!  Contact me on RWA with any questions or comments.
