Historically accurate repaint of the NP's sole GE 44 Tonner

Description: Northern Pacific GE 44 Ton; 04 MAY 2018.

Repaints by Rudi Jaeger, exclusively for the payware DigitalTrainModel (DTM) Boston & Maine GE 44 Ton switcher (Steam Store). Although with some bin-file edits for road names, will likely work with any of the other DTM 44 Ton offerings. Credits to the original developer for providing the textures which served as the foundation for these repaints.

Contents:

Historically accurate repaint of the NP's sole GE 44 Tonner. Number 98 was built in 1946 and served as the switcher for the South Tacoma shops until being sold to Pacific Car & Foundry, Renton WA, on 24 July 1964.

Note: There was one additional 44 Tonner (built 1943) ordered by NP subsidiary Duluth Union Depot & Transfer which temporarily served with the NP as Number 99 while the DUD&T resolved labor issues, and was later transferred back as DUD&T Number 5.

Installation:

1. Transfer the Assets folder (from this zip file) into your main Railworks folder. Note: There are no requirements to overwrite anything.

2. Copy the following file from your pre-existing "Railworks/Assets/DTM/GE44Ton-B&M/RailVehicles/Boston and Maine/Engine" folder:

GE 44Ton_B&M.GeoPcDx

..and paste it into the "Engine" folder of the freshly installed NP folder.

3. Be Careful now, we're switching to a different folder (CabView); Copy the following Geo file from your pre-existing "Railworks/Assets/DTM/GE44Ton-B&M/RailVehicles/Boston and Maine/CabView" folder:

GE 44Ton_B&M_Cab.GeoPcDx

..and paste it into the "CabView" folder of the freshly installed NP folder. Mission complete.

When using the scenario builder, be sure to select "DTM" then check the box for "GE44Ton-B&M" from the right-side flyout panel. Locomotive will display in the scenario builder's "selected" assets menu (left-side flyout) as "GE 44 Ton NP".
