A fictional AARR ex-BN GP38 patched engine

Description: By request, Adriana County Patched GP38 locomotive by tagsdm

Included is a repaint of the Steam stand-alone RSC GP38 into a patched Adriana County locomotive. The AC has aquired this GP 38 of obvious parentage to assist with traffic peaks. There was only enough time for a quick name/number stencil job and the unit went right to work. It'll get to the paint shop...someday. Oh well, makes a good story. The engine is freelanced, like the Adriana County route itself, and is a single-number locomotive. The repaint does not use autonumbering. It's unlikely that a shortline like Adriana County would have more than one engine like this, and the weathering is usually unique to each unit. A no driver (ND) is also included. I usually run the ND unit with one or two GP-15s, or use the driver unit alone to switch Harrison Ave.

!!!You must own the BNSF GP38-2 Loco Add-On from Steam to use this repaint.!!!

To install this repaint, extract the BN-ACDX_Patch.rwp to a convenient location for you (like your desktop) and install using the Package Manager utility located in your Railworks main folder. You should find a "BN-ACDX_Patch" folder in ...Assets\RSC\GP38BnPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP38-2 after installing.

Now the file copying...
Navigate to your ...Assets\RSC\GP38-2BnPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP38-2\BN\Engine folder and copy the GP38-2_BN.GeoPcDx file. Then
Navigate to your ...Assets\RSC\GP38-2BnPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP38-2\BN-ACDX_Patch\Engine folder and paste the GP38-2_BN.GeoPcDx file there.

Then..
Navigate to your ...Assets\RSC\GP38-2BnPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP38-2\BN\Cabview folder and copy the GP38_BN_CAB_001.GeoPcDx file. Then
Navigate to your ...Assets\RSC\GP38-2BnPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\GP38-2\BN-ACDX_Patch\Cabview folder and paste the GP38_BN_CAB_001.GeoPcDx file there.
That should do it.

To use in a scenario, be sure RSC and GP38-2BnPack01 are checked in the Editor. You should find two new entries in the locomotive flyout on the left...

EMD GP38-2 BN-ACDX-Patch
EMD GP38-2 BN-ACDX-Patch_ND

Place an EMD GP38-2 BN-ACDX-Patch on the rails, add a driver and you're set. Use EMD GP38-2 BN-ACDX-Patch_ND in the middle or end of a lash-up, or as a scenery item.
