Have you ever stood by a P32 at Grand Central Terminal?

"Bloody epic fail?" I guess we should not have GP30s or SD45s or DDA40AXs or Cab-Forwards or U36Bs or the GN Empire Builder or anything else that does not perfectly match the era of the host route then?

tycoonkid9 wrote:The workshop scenarios better use the AEM-7 as AI.

I think that will be up to those who take their time and effort to actually contribute to Workshop.

Haven't been to Grand Central.

Bloody epic fail because the ACS-64 was introduced AFTER the FL9 was retired from Metro North. But locos like those you mentioned are definitely welcome.

Hopefully.

Why does the acs-64 even matter? We can have locos from any era together, remember, its a game. You can run it without acs-64's when you buy it.

Had you been (or had you done your homework) you would be aware that seeing a P32, with engine running (to provide HEP) is a daily occurance at GCT and thus your above statement about the P32 is not particularly valid.

tycoonkid9 wrote:Bloody epic fail because the ACS-64 was introduced AFTER the FL9 was retired from Metro North. But locos like those you mentioned are definitely welcome.

Yes, and the ES44AC was introduced after the GP30 or GP20 was retired (for Sherman), and the ES44DC was introduced after the Empire Builder for Marias, and the Dash 9 was introduced after the Cab-Forward for Donner, and the Dash 8-40CW was introduced after the U36B for Miami, etc., etc., so I utterly fail to understand your point, let alone the idea that offering the community an FL9 is an "epic fail."

tycoonkid9 wrote:Hopefully.

Perhaps rather than telling contributors to Workshop what they "better do" (as you stated above), you might create some scenario of your own if you feel so strongly about what is acceptable.

Offering an FL9 is NOT an epic fail. What the epic fail is the AI traffic from the irrelevant era. The FL9 is a welcome addition to the wide range of Train Sim addons. Let's just drop it.

We can't forget the units potential on the VNHRR Route, It'll certainly be more than at home there and certainly relevant

Dude, this really isn't worth posting. You basically copy-pasted the description from the Steam Store, while we can just click the link and see for ourselves.

Simply because you know how to type doesn't always mean you should. Most of your posts here are argumentative or trolling and it's tiresome. I posted it up simply to head off the deluge of posts asking what comes with it - there's your answer.

Any early buyers?

How is it?

Brakes working properly? Given the problems with P59OH and cab cars ....
Diesel - 3rd rail transition working properly?

I noticed in the screenshots, the Hancock air whistle is gone. No ghetto grills?
The loco looks sharp otherwise.
How is the cab?

The bell sounds normal enough when in cabview. However, barely audible when along side of unit in exterior view.
Other equipment is normal enough.

Hancock 4700 Air whistle. Although a diesel appliance, built like a steam whistle, sounding the chord of E, A, C#. The class one railroads that used them phased them out because they weren't loud enough, although many were found on short lines and industrial locomotives.

Manual wasn't for whatever reason linked on the Steam page, but here's the link.

Looks to be some slightly different power modes and in-cab signaling.
