What are you doing? You ask me to move this to the right spot which is in the rolling stock section which I did and then you re-post this here?

Well, considering your links don't work. I say no, it's not a possibility. !!**sorry**!!

Although I cant see your link, I'm going to guess its and NPCU for the F40. No, you can't cut into any model, you can only add to it. I was told an NPCU would take a while new model if that's what you were after.

Oh you mean Ditchlights! Someone might be able to do that easily, considering someone was doing it for the last two NS Heritage repaints. One of the F7's has two headlights so that's not a problem.

So sorry for being a little blunt earlier but we didn't know what you we're talking about. !**duh*!!

Like I said before, you can't chop off the strobes and cut into the body and insert ditchlights. You can only add to the model, you can't take anything away. I made a topic about the NPCU's a couple weeks ago and that's what I got. So no, its impossible. It would require a whole new model.

What about the VIA F40? With Ditchlights added to the bottom? No need to cut the Strobes, plus, what bout the Metra F40? Like i said, cutting the Strobes.

The Amtrak F40 #406 would require you to cut into the model, as the ditchlights are in a socket type hole indented into the body. I saw 406 this morning

I do not see why you can not do the Metra. Use the FP40 and don't count the rivits
