I'm looking for military vehicles to place at my Armory. Didn't someone make a flatcar once with some jeeps or tanks or something like that?
I've searched the three usual libraries but can't find them.

The Big Boy comes with a string of flatcars with Sherman tanks on them. Maybe they came from IHH, like Big Boy did?

Yes there is a Sherman flatcar in the Big Boy pack, but no modern stock.
I think someone should do a modern flatcar with Abrahams tanks on it (I look into the direction of Michael Stephan ).

I believe I have seen some military vehicles on some of the international RW sites. Have you tried UKTrainsim?

well first of all we don't have any flatcars that could support such a heavy tank in game...yet! we need some heavy duty flatcars for this but it is a good idea, i alwayse liked the look of the M1A2 main battle tank! maby we could have some bradly's, hummvy's, and some sheradans to go with it? an armory could give a little more "ACTION" to a route!

I thought so, too. Am going to look through the UK site again.

I bought my BB through Steam/RW; didn't get any extra stock with it. I don't like that practice.

EDIT: NEVERMIND.... I found it. You're right, it's in my IHH folder. Now to find out why they are not showing up in my browser!


Can you tell me the object name and/or file location, please? I have not seen these in my rolling stock browser or file folders.

Somehow I had the BB but not the flatcar; re-enabled the IHH object sets and all is well.

Except.... it looks like the tank is part of the rail car. I don't see a separate blueprint/shape for just the tank. So I can't plop one of these things on the ground?!?? sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh That makes no sense to me. Maybe I can "kill" a copy of the rail car... make a "dead" one, then just bury the car underground. Aww, then I'll need permissions.... let's see... this is a free product but only available with a payware product made by a third party bought through Steam, licensed by RS.Com. Hmmmm... who to ask, who to ask... this "game" is becoming a "pain" (you know what kind).

Any suggestions, guys?

I still think I saw green jeeps on a flatcar before... maybe they came included with someone's route???

Not exactly military and no Humvee, but the spanish site has some nice Landrovers and other jeeps in the collection in civil and police style variations. Not exactly what you are looking for, but might be worth a look: http://www.trensim.com/lib/rs/index.php?act=view&id=363 - there are more if you browse through it. I know someone at UKTS also has put them onto a wagon, but can't seem to find it right now, but would have been a UK wagon anyway. Maybe someone could do it for an US wagon?

There is a translate option with Google that will solve that. Look under the more tab.

"Descargas" is download and there is always an .rwp file included in the download, not that much trouble I think and it has pictures of everything. Or do as kin3 says I don't speak spanish either
