I'm trying to make some repaints of some NS units that I have seen so many times, but am wondering: How do people get the logos and lettering the just right?? With gimp you can easily tell that is is not perfect, but I have seen some engines that the lettering looks like a perfect sticker was planted on there!

We get to killin'? Excellent!

Go to the NS corporate site. They have logos and striping in the PNG format that you might be able to clean up and use. Another trick you might use for artwork is to get a picture of a logo off the internet, resize and place it as a layer on your texture, create another layer above it and trace it. And if you are really awesome, just freehand it!

There are also a bunch of font sites out there to help you text the right letters on the model. If you have a particular problem post and one of us will see if we can help out.
