Papa, where's your crystal ball? Do you have spies in my CPU? Just a tease, I don't want to hijack this thread...

What do you use spine cars for?

You know people will start sending you love letters the more you work on it.

And quite the reverse if you drop the project.

Good luck !!*ok*!!

I think I may pass out! I have been waiting for these for 3+ years!!!!! How do you randomize the trailers that get loaded onto the cars?

I don't think he understood my question. What a meant was, how do you make it so each time you place the car, it has a different load. Like different names on the trailers, different trailer sizes. Kind of like the rolling stock that came with PT. When you select a boxcar from the asset list, and place it, after you place it there is a different roadname on the next 1.

I vaguely remember some special technique was used for PT cars. I think it had something to do with random textures.

Well, the first batch of betas are out to some of you for testing. If you did not get a PM from me then you are not in the first batch of testers. Don't worry you will get your chance. Please let me know what your impressions are. Some things that you should be looking for are vertical curve issues, coupling issues, placement issues. Any cosmetic issues that are noteworthy please pass along, along with any prototype differences that are glaringly wrong. Yes, there will be more livery (roadnames) and auto numbering in the release versions. Please don't ask for a particular roadname just yet, I just want to see if they work on different machines and routes. Plus, these are also non-interchange cars, meaning they are not passed from railroad to railroad, but typically stay on a home road, mostly due to their clearance issues, 22ft tall.

Im having an issue when trying to accelerate they derail around curves with a pusher on the rear. tested this a few times now and it keeps happening even if I put the throttle to 0%, seems that the weights are not set correctly or something?????

Mine are good. Didn't spend to much time with them though. Will do that tomorrow. Looks great Dan!
