Union RR runs partly over the Bontempo's P&LE.
Those switchers run on Blomberg trucks, are these models available? MP15's I believe?

P&LE is such a promising route in principle, but needs a lot work to bring it up to scratch.
I dont think the Union runs hot metal trains anymore, all that is done at the Edgar Thompson works internally, now the hot slabs come from there go across the Monongahela river to the Mon valley works to be finished.
I agree the P&LE route is a mess but could be promising if the era of 1970s is set and built upon that.
P&LE not only did movements for J&L to and from Aliquippa and south side works but also the Wheeling Pittsburgh steel mill in Monessen Pa. Plus a bunch of interchange with USS (United States Steel) McKeesport Pa.
