AI Crashes?

i'm attempting to create a new scenario for the full length of the san bernadino route about 77.8 miles and i'm adding AI trains because it'd be a pretty boring ride without them. i've got AI trains from the barstow to oro grande added so far but 5 minutes after i pass the one at helendale i get a AI train crash error my question is this? what am i doing wrong and how can i fix this from happening again i might add i'm still a newbie to all of this but it's a heckuva lot of fun so far and i have a bazillion ideas for scenarios but they're all useless if i can't get passed this dilemna, any help would be greatly appreciated!.

Well, I'm sorry to tell you this but we can't really help at all, you just have to figure it out yourself, it is difficult (everything is) but once you figure it out it will be alot easier next time.

Check you are not starting AI services in same signal block as each other. Make sure no static consists in the way. Try to avoid services coming together at junctions at the same time.
These are a few of the things that can cause issues. I find the new scenario editor very useful as the display function can show each AI service routing and reports issues that would otherwise cause a crash.

How are you routing your AI trains? What I mean is, do they run just far enough to meet the player train or do they contuinue from theior starting point to the opposite end of the route? I've found that giving AI the shortest path possible often helps avoid crashes. On the other hand, assigning shorter paths sometimes results in leaving a train on a track where it later causes a crash.
Have you used the "new" Timetable editor to check the paths of your AI trains? I've sometimes discovered path problems in this way that do not appear as blockages in the same editor.
Try adjusting the timing of AI trains, especially the two that are causing the crash. I've found that at times just a few seconds make the difference between crashing or not. Is it possible that the train in question is derailing while driving, say, through a tight switch to get to its end point?
Did you write down the coordinates of the crash? This isn't easy to do, since they remain visible only a brief time, but if you manage to do so you can then reopen the sscenario for editing, go to those coordinates, and check to see if an obstacle of some kind exists there. If all else fails, run the scenario, but instead of doing anything with the player train, use the 2D map to get to the crash location and watch what happens.
That's about all I can think of at the moment. Hope that something I've suggested here helps.

you should make shure the route of the AI train does not go any farther than the end of the train ahead of it because sometimes i have found out if you do this the rear train will not stop for thrown switches or red signals which create a crash.
