Hi,
I am the creator of RWDecal and just stumbled across your post. It looks like you have been changing quite a few settings in RWDecal. It is best to leave the settings as they are (ie default) unless you understand what each one does. It is certainly better to change one or two at a time rather than lots.

The settings you need to look at in RWDecal are:

Preferences --> Reduced Capture Area. This should be left at the default value of 80%. It looks like you have increased this to 100% so that the whole of the GoogleEarth windows is captured including all the logos. Change it back and re-create the decals.

If you are using a time line in GoogleEarth other than the most recent one then I do not believe you can hide it. Then again the decals are for route creation and CAN NOT be distributed with a route as this would break Google Earths T&C's. A small semi transparent timeline bar should not stop you from being able to use the decals effectively to create your route. An annoyance but nothing more.

If you are using the most recent Google Earth imagery then have a look in your Google Earth options to see if the timeline display can be removed.

Hi Jim,

Glad to see you surfing the RWA forum. Nothing like being able to talk with the creator of a product about its features and its future. RWDecal is a great asset to our route builders and we are appreciative of your work.
