A segment of Germany's Ruhr-Sieg Railway, from Hagen to Finnentrop (61 kilometers/38 miles), is coming soon to TSW. This route will focus on freight but have opportunities for passenger traffic too. More info at https://live.dovetailgames.com/live/train-sim-world/articles/article/a-valley-of-tales?_ga=2.113687876.215819152.1529915766-1894532673.1528900075.

DTG is now making DLC faster than previous year. Good sign for the company's growth.

If anyone buys them and plays them. Play had dropped off to near nothing on TSW.

DTG's resources are only limited. The actual rail vehicles are commissioned from a 3rd party.

DLC so far has been released on 3 month intervals, USA, UK and GER. Routes are truncated when development time is up.

Perhaps this business model is copied after console games with their season passes?

No doubt the casual console player will be an easier target audience for DTG than most of us here. We are disappointed with the lack of world, consist and scenario editors, the toy train physics, numerous unresolved bugs, etc.

Yes, you are correct. I found a page on Art Station.

This is the worst thing they are doing now.

We are disappointed with the lack of world, consist and scenario editors, the toy train physics, numerous unresolved bugs, etc.

This is the legacy of DTG. !*hp*!
They are too lazy to develop even x64 version of RailWorks. *!sad!*

5 DLC in steamdb?

IMHO they are pushing their credibility with this one, a cut down version of a route already covered in RS/RW. It is about the least interesting German prototype they could have chosen - why not a section of the Rhine Valley, the Karwendlbahn - anything which might have got the interest to spark in a wider audience.

In the meantime the core bugs and issues with earlier releases still go largely unfixed.

Really have to question the sanity of the people at DTG making these creative and marketing decisions!

Even the Germans over at Train-Sim.de are very disappointed.

DTG has given them very little love, with Rapid Transport an all time low.

Bringing DLC like this to the wealthy German market is doing DRG’s reputation no good.

I think at this point DTG will gladly leave the demanding PC players behind and concentrate on the lucrative console market. A generally less knowledgeable player and comfortable season passes “cash in advance” should be very tempting.

The German stalwart Virtual Railroads is also taking a beating over their latest TS18 DLC. One can only hope they will not loose interest in developing or TSW once the tools get distributed.

Daniel,
May I politely suggest a change in your meds or a little less adult beverage. Calm down please.

Just leave the forums mate. We are just as free to critique questionable business practices and half baked DLCs as much as you have the right to apply chapstick and kiss butt.

If you can't handle other people having differing opinions from your rose tinted glasses version, you shouldn't browse public forums and instead stick to the Dovetail official ones where they silence any criticism.

DTG is shoveling out half baked DLC because of people like you. You hold them to no standard and wonder why the quality is continually dropping. We don't tolerate this sort of thing with model railroad manufacturers, or vehicle manufacturers, or anyone else. Why should they not be held accountable for laziness? I respect the people in the community who pick up the pieces and make them tolerable, especially when DTG intentionally makes it hard for them to do so (see: repainters). There's no excuse for laziness to this degree. **!!2cents!!**

Oh please don't.. we will miss DTGs top advocate.. People who like drama have no business here. If you don't like rwa, there's plenty of other sites to express your over-the-top-opinion.
