Swapping engine sounds

I have a backup of the TS2016 version of Sherman Hill and I want to try and alias the SD70M sounds to the SD60M, SD75I/M, and the SD80MAC, but I'm not quite sure on how to do this, considering the engines each have different numbers and types of sound files.

Just alias it in the engine bin file on the lines about 'engine sound. That way you don't have to mess with all the audio stuff.

I'll have to try that. Thanks!

Also, just a heads up, I have the Searchlight SD70M/MAC sounset, will that affect anything since I also have my backup files in a different location?

Am currently aliasing sounds to almost every engine I have! Added the SD70M sounds to the SD60s, 75s, and 80MACs. The DTM SD50 sounds to the SD40-2s, and the DTM GP30 sounds to my GP38s. So far, so good!
