Hello,

After the recent release of the GNF&O "V&T 2-6-0 Mogul" by GutoNicolucci ( https://www.gnfotrainsim.com/locomotivas ) and the repaints/knuckle coupler versions released on this site by CArailroader, I was wondering if someone would take on making airbrake & knuckle coupler equipped versions of the Smokebox 4-4-0's from the "Jupiter" and "Cheyenne 1869" packs, as well as the 4-6-0's from the "Buffalo" pack?

Or at least airbrake equipped version's, since the pack's do include a flat car with a knuckle coupler on one end already. In that case, we'd really only need an airbrake version of the loco, tender and the flat car with the knuckle coupler on it. That would allow us to use these on more modern trains, such as the one's the replica of the "Leviathan" pulls/has pulled.

Is such a thing even possible given the scripting Smokebox created for these?

Just a thought.

Not sure how/if it would work with the scripting. That's something I'd have to look at/ play around with. That would be on the back burner, but it's a future project nonetheless.

Cool, thank you and good luck once you get to it.

Have a look at the section titled "Adjustable Controls Difficulty" on pages 24 and 25 of Jupiter's manual. If you use Ctrl D to switch the difficulty to "Easy:

"• Fake engine (a.k.a. independent) brakes are included that can be operated with the brake lever in the F4 HUD (remember to switch from train brakes to engine brakes first)."

Maybe that'll help.
