Thanks, but no thanks, Buzz.
These BLLW caboose look like MSTS conversions, coarsely detailed and textured. Not worth 11 bucks to me.

Plus they are on the wrong trucks. Caboose have leaf springs in their trucks, to provide the crew some comfort. Coil springs give a bouncy ride in light cars such as caboose. Leaf springs have internal friction and dampen the bouncing. Modern caboose have cushion underframes, a dynamo, battery box,water/oil tanks, ice box and tool boxes slung from their underframe. Radio antenae, grilles or shutters to protect the windows from vandals throwing rocks and other safety appliances.

Waiting for the DTG caboose or whoever created these for DTG. I can add a red taillight emitter myself, but if there is no light fixture provided, it looks odd.
This is the best I could do:

Note to self: there are even step light fixtures modeled, so step light emitters can be added as well.

So now I'm going to do this in public. Whether you think the product is worth $11 is completely irrelevant. You said there was no cabooses with lights. There are.
How detailed the model is or how you personally like it has nothing to do with this conversation. Trashing the man's hard work is not what we are about here. If you want to write a review of a product you buy there is a place for that. Just stop.

Now can we get back to the U36B if possible?

Looks nice, but it is particularly pricey for including 2 engine liveries and 2 pieces of rolling stock. Many older offerings were only $19.99 and included many more liveries, such as the SD70 V2 Volume 2, Dash 9, SW1500, and GP9. I'll definitely get this and the Tri-Rail F40PHL-2 when it's on sale.

I hope there will be CSX (all variations), Conrail, and Auto Train reskins for this engine in the future.

Yes, you're right. It's too expensive. I hope that is a mistake and DTG will correct it soon.

Considering DTG rarely ever provides more than one livery for a loco anymore, I'd say this more than likely accurate. Being that if they only provided one, you end up paying the difference on the marketplace anyway. Otherwise, just wait for it to go on sale.

Is its bit more expensive yes, do you get more content than usual, yes. The more content comes at only 5 bucks more. Either pony up 5 extra bucks or vote with not buying it. Complaining constantly about every single freaking thing isn't going to change it. Some people need lives...

Dash 9 sounds? And they're charging $25? *!mad!*

At least there are other U-Boat / Dash 7 sounds out there.

I took a look at this package at the on-line store today. I'm not usually a price whiner, but have to say that it's odd to see this Seaboard pack costing $24.99 whereas the F40PLH-2 with a whole set of passenger coaches is available for $12.99. What actually irritates me, though is that DTGRSCetc has not made the users' manual available for pre-purchase perusal.* Almost all of their store pages used to include a link to the manual (although, being honest, very few of those links ever produced more than a tiny spinning propeller icon); now some products do and some don't. What are they ashamed of?

Before shelling out 25 bucks (and there's another pet peeve: subtracting one penny from every price and expecting buyers not to notice that 99 cents and a dollar are the same thing in the long run), I'd like to know what special features this loco has that supposedly make it worth nearly double the cost of the average loco + cars DLC. Another "working" toilet, perhaps???

!!jabber!!
