I'd love to see the Twin Ports (Duluth, MN, and Superior, WI), including trackage to the Iron Range and Cloquet via BNSF and CN. There's also some UP and CP in Superior, and occasionally NS. Perhaps it could be set in the '40s or thereabouts, and could feature GN, NP, Soo, DWP, and DM&IR content, including a DM&IR 2-8-8-4 M3/M4 and tons of additional trackage. If the route is set in present day, however, two excursion railroads, the LS&M and the NSSR (most of the line from DUD to the Lester River featured here, along with a shot of Steelton Grade) could be included. It could even be set in the not-too-distant future, when there will be a passenger link between Minneapolis and the Twin Ports. It has something for everyone!

If they did Minnesota, that might open up opportunities for some Northstar rolling stock!

Where the hell would you even run it? There's no good NS routes currently available. Well, aside from the New York Division project. Georgians route hasn't released yet.

Things to consider when asking for rolling stock.

Not that anyone is paying attention anyway.

Roger that. It takes DTG over a year to make Gallery cars and a F40PH-2C.

I did consider it when requesting.
It was in hopes that an N&W route would be done. It's pretty self explanatory. If the route doesn't exist but an interest in the equipment is there then obviously a route is needed. It's wish list not an explain every aspect of why I might like to see something. DTG and others have released many things that don't fit the route or era model so why is my request for N&W steam so attacked?

How about the Santa Fe 3751? We have Cajon Pass the Surfline and Tomcat's rendition. That would be a great addition to the sim.

Thanks BNSFdude!
I'll run with this: Take the Bergen, as is or expand, add a Norfolk Southern GP38-2 Low Hood, a Centerbeam Car, package me up and call it a day!
We can do this TODAY!

And since this is a 'wishlist" - I'll go for the whole megillah.

C'mon I gave to the game - hook me up!

Thanks for your consideration. I'll be upstairs working on this NS route thingy of mine. *!greengrin!*

Unfortunately, it's just not viable economically. I'd have to give percentages of the revenue to the N&W Historical Society (in return for obtaining the necessary drawings), the VMT (royalties to be paid for the use of the name, shape, image, etc.), DTG (as publisher) and Valve/Steam (as distributor), which wouldn't leave me (the person making the entire model) with much to live on.

Mike what about the ATSF 3751? does the SBRHS have rights to her too?
