Well, You could always get a plane ticket and fly to Cali. and see it for real, then beg some engineer to let you ride over the pass... then California falls into the pacific, and all your dreams will come true! !**duh*!! !*roll-laugh*!

I suggest that we all back up the Donner before the new version comes out. For all the P-ing and Moaning about this route if something bad happens and there are problems I for one would not want to lose this. For you noobs all you have to do is clone the route with a new name and when the update comes it will leave your re-named clone alone.

Just be aware that if you clone the route in TS, it will assign new file numbers to all your scenarios, so you can't just rename it back if you want. For an exact backup, I recommend just copying the whole route to a safe place. In my install, at least, the route is folder 00000032-0000-0000-0000-000000000000

I recommend doing both. Cloning the route means you can run all the old scenarios on it even if they don't work on the new route. Saving it to a backup spot ensures you can recover the old route if you want. I expect no problems with the new route, given who has been working on it (very excited for it actually), but it never hurts to be safe.

im not Shure why you would want to copy the current version to save it? I cant possibly see how it can get worse especially with all the awesome screenshots, im taking my chances! !*salute*!

I'm thinking the rubber band couplers issue will be fixed. It's pretty much standard in DLC now, so come tomorrow there shouldn't be trains wanting to be planes.

I don't know why this keeps coming up and coming up when the installation of the Brit Kit couplers gets rid of all that unrealistic stretching.
