Anyone else not able to use workshop scenarios?

First, it took me a while to find the workshop button. It's under the Collection page on the bottom right, for those who don't know.

The problem is that I can't actually run any of the scenarios I subscribe to. They show up in the list, however no info shows up on the right side of the page (unknown author, no addons listed etc) and I can't click 'Next' on the bottom right to actually run the scenario. Anyone else having this or is it just me..

Yeah, that's how it is for me too. Can't figure it out. When I click on one and click "Next" it just takes me to the Quick Run selection screen.

What's great is their official support blew me off like I must be running scenarios with DLC I don't own. *!rolleyes!* Even though I specifically told them this is with scenarios that were working perfectly fine before.

I subscribed to a few scenarios and they appeared in my list, but when selected the next button was just greyed out. I saw a brief message somewhere about having to restart your program for the download to happen. Restarting TS did not work, so I restarted steam and when I loaded TS again a small window with an OK button was telling me it was downloading the scenarios I picked and now they work.?? !*hp*!

After spending about 20 minutes wading through the new menu to find the workshop scenario selection menu, I loaded a scenario and it worked ok. Of all the changes in TS2014, the new menu system is my least favorite. !*not-ok*!

I've been able to load all the "regular" Steam Workshop [SW] scenarios to which I've subscribed. By "regular", I mean those that pertain to TS routes; however, I also spotted some interesting looking scenarios that require subscribing to an SW route as well. After considerable frustration, I managed to download the route and its scenarios, but attempting to run the scenarios from the regular SW page in the game produced only a "Download Route" message, with the "Next" button greyed out. Instead, those SW route-based scenarios have to be run from the Routes tab of the SW page. Is this process explained in the TS2014 User Manual? Not a word! In fact, the only mention of SW in the manual relates to publishing routes and scenarios.

!*don-know!* !*hp*!

So, helpful Steam user karawraith found out how to get the Workshop subscriptions to work, and the solution was very simple.

Create a folder called 'Temp' in the main Railworks folder.

Yep, that's all I had to do and they work again.
