To those who are still having OOM issues and suspect workshop items here is a link from someone who posted on DTG's forums a solution that has solved his issue. It is worth a read.

Very useful.
Thanks to you for posting the link, and thanks to Cyclone for writing the paper.

I've been suddenly getting this all the time on my VNH New Haven-Springfield route. It happened immediately after trying to download a WM gondola from RWA. What happens if I just delete VNH from Train Sim and re-install it from Steam? And how would that affect other homemade routes using VNH assets? (I have it backed up on my desktop.) I ask this not just for me, but for anyone who might be wondering about this option.

Did you delete the WM gondola? From what you describe that seems to be the problem not the route?

Sure did. And just to be safe, the BM Freight Pack 2 on which it was based, I believe. VNH won't even run under "Drive," let alone scenario editing. But everything else in Train Sim is working fine.

Yes then uninstall it and then install again. Something has become corrupted.
