If you like working with machinery, tractors and implements, and would run a farm or do some logging, your time has come.

The excellent Farming Simulator 2015 is on sale: 70% off or 50% off the Gold pack.

Full development docs and export plug ins are included.

There is a very large base of mods to keep you interested.

I enjoy this simulator very much, and have the accompanying steering wheel, pedals and implements controller.
There is one minus, the sim doesn't support TIR or other head trackers (yet?), which should come in very handy when working in a tractor or harvester.

These wheel and pedals should work quite well with American Truck simulator.

Sale end Feb. 22

Yeah, I've put in quite a few hours down on the farm, myself. It does keep me busy and entertained.

I've been putting most of my time into my trucking empire lately, but I should check in on the crops again soon, I'm thinking. At any rate, I also recommend this sim.

Do modern farmer still chow tobacco?

You can whistle, usually at the dog or the cows, but also at the pretty women walking 'round town.

The game has a multiplayer feature, where you can cooperate to get the crops in as fast and efficient as possible.
One can drive the harvester, another can drive the tractor and trailer that picks up the harvest.
After work, you can all drive to a cafe and have a beer together (the game is from Germany, though there are no dirndl).
I don't think you avatars can moonshine each other, but perhaps there is a mod for that gesture as well.

It is a good game, you should give it a try.

If you are really dedicated to creating DLC, you can do a train, lay track round the map, put your train on the rails and run it.
