I for one am looking forward to getting Run 8v2 (I already own v1). You not only get AI trains now, but you get basically 2 1/2 routes with it and the SD70 pack that was once going to be sold as a separate $20 add on DLC. Speculation is that the pack was included to compensate for the 6 month delay in the release of the sim.
I know the graphics aren't at TSW's or even TS2017's level, but other than physics.... what I like most about Run 8 is that it's easy to merge routes to create a very large contiguous network of subdivisions. With their current routes and future planned routes.... they will have a good chunk of BNSF's and UP's real-life subdivisions in California, Arizona and a little bit of Nevada covered. So you could cover hundreds of miles continuously in one straight shot across more than one state. That's just too cool!

I never got around to getting the Needles sub, so the fact that it's included with v2 is a nice bonus for me.
