Sorry, that is incorrect, automatic updates are a feature of all versions - I run both home and pro.
You can stop automatic updates if you want and install what you want as and when.
Windows 10 did NOT cause the issue.
That is between NVidia and TS2016 and the problem has been reported to DTG and NVidia.
Plus it can easily be remedied in TS 2016 using the NVCP.

Do you have any proof of this?
I didn't say automatic updates were only a feature of Win 10 home, I only meant that Windows 10 Home is apparently the only one that Forces the updates, were as the other versions allow you to stop them and choose like in Win 7 Home.

Look at the changes in the drivers. Nvidia actually admits to the "optimizations for certain games" It's in the release notes.
In any case I'm adopting a new strategy.
When someone disagrees with me, they can spend the energy to prove me wrong...

Well I submit that NVidia does gear themselves to do drivers for popular games but not because they are getting paid but because this makes their driver work better with popular games therefore making people more likely to buy their video cards. What a concept and a long way from the idea that the evil corporation is doing it because someone is lining their pockets.
Prove me wrong.

It's all interesting.
They optimize for games like World of Warcraft, but I hear from local gamers that they own far more older games that are getting bugged by newer drivers, and that has them ticked off.
So, Nvidia is sacrificing the many in the name of the few.
Apparently I'm an oddball because I only have the one sim, but others I'm talking to have many games and sims they have accumulated, and apparently a lot of their favorite titles are now messed up.
Why the devil does Microsoft have any business updating other's drivers, it's just asking for trouble.
