Howdy Folks,
Hope no one labored too hard on Labor Day.
By the early 1960's most of the CNW's Commuter and Intercity fleet had been fitted with Cummins diesel generators set for 440VAC.
So I decided mine needed it too. They each have two versions, one with HEP on and off. This includes sounds which is nothing more then a extra engine sound set at Notch 5 constantly, and muted slightly (good enough for railroad work).

Depending on which type of engine you select to have in your consist they will produce engine noise and exhaust if on, and none if off. The older/earlier versions lacked mufflers and if the HEP is on the exhaust flapper will be up, down if off. (Not animated)
*Note in the picture above the F7's HEP is off and both E8's are on.
(Later on, in the 1970's both E8's and F7's received mufflers)
On into the 1970's as the Mars lights in their locomotives failed, they were often capped. By the 1970's rotating beacons had also become a thing. Many thanks to PapaExpress for the use of his beacons!

Don't worry I will have a 'slightly' less filthy version for you clean freaks.
Also, I added a duplicate engine sound for the E8's, as they did have two after all. Now they scream down the line!

P.S. Only crumby part, I can't remove the steam generator stack and vent, I tried covering them with the appropriate blower fan, but it looks silly. So I went without.
