Hi,

Happy New Year!
!*cheers*!
(First post in 2012, yay!)

I just updated my scenery page on my website with several new and some updated models. All new scenery models are freeware and can be used in your routes and uploaded together with them.
http://golden-age-rails.com/scenery.html

The new objects are:

A pack of several 2 to 4 story 'main street' houses that should look right at home in most U.S. small town scenes on your layouts. These are all really low poly but still detailed enough to be used "within walking distance" from the tracks. Three 'FlexiRow' object strings are also included, to speed up placement in large numbers.

A collection of coal mine objects, previously seen on Rich Shirey's Montour. So these have been 'out there' for a while already, albeit a bit hidden.
This set also includes a few (really quite small) wooden frame miners' homes, built after drawings and photos from the Buffalo Creek & Gauley historical society.

Another old model that I only now got around to upload: a snowdrift loft that you can place alongside your tracks so it looks like a snow plow has just carved its way through. This model only shows up in winter.

Have fun with these!
More objects will be added when I build them for the GN Butte Div. route.

Cheers!
Michael

Thanks Michael, great stuff as usual. I have 1 mile left on my route now I might have to change the coal mine area a little bit.

Hi Michael,
Thank you, the Montour Rail Works route would be incomplete without the many add-on's you've already created for this route. Here is a look at the Champion prep plant thanks to all of Michael's add-ons:

And with this kit I'm also able to recreate the Montour #4 Mine at Hills

and the Montour #10 mine in Library.

Thank you Michael, your Montour Hoppers, buildings and bridges have really brought the Virtual Montour to life !!*ok*!!

Regards,
Rich S.

P.S. Those are Michael's hoppers in the screen shots.
