Workmen mod from Isle of Wright Add-On Route

Unread postby ironcat60 » Sun Jun 03, 2018 7:57 pm

These non-animated Workmen with Hardhats are re-textures of the 2-D IOW Workmen included in the Isle of Wright Route Add-on for Rail Simulator. This route was
included in one of the more recent Train Simulator 20xx releases. You will need this route to have these characters available. If you do not have the route it
is available and costs very little.

If you want workers on your route but don't want a hit on your frame rate that animated figures cause then these guys are for you. The original characters
included in the route have a menu title of IoW Workman A01 to IoW Workman G02. Now the mods have the menu title of IoW Workman2 A01 or IoW Workman3 A01. Notice the "Workman2" or "Workman3" naming convention. That's how you can select the mods from the originals. Workman2 figures have a White Hard Hat and Workman3 figures have a Yellow Hard Hat.

All have the safety vest that comes with the original. There is seven Workman2 figures and seven Workman3 figures. Giving you fourteen figures in all. They can be divided into groups by helmet color for a certain business or mixed together if individuals are required to provide their own safety gear.

There is two RWP files. One is IOW Workmen 2 and the other is IOW Workmen 3. This gives you the choice to install only what you want to take up space on your
hard drive.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

We also have a group of 3D railway workers from the 1950s/60s, without hi-viz vests, some sitting down others standing up, if folks have a subscription for the UKTS library, something else to populate our old routes with. You need the original Isle of Wight Payware route first where these characters originally came from.

Wow, more people who are willing to work hard for recycled electrons!

Thanks for the heads up! I am always looking for characters like this to populate the smaller businesses who don't have safety gear requirements. Like the fact they all have coats and hats on. Because if they are working outside and you set a winter or rainy environment it just looks out of place to have people with short sleeves or no jacket on.

Thanks to UKTrainSim! One of my go to places for content! *!!thnx!!* !*salute*!
