Cimarron & Pacific Wood Caboose

Unread postby harryadkins » Fri Jan 15, 2016 5:46 pm

This model is a newly reworked Cimarron & Pacific Railroad reskin of Michael Stephan’s Steam Era wooden caboose. The Northern Pacific early 20th century Freight Pack can be purchased at: http://www.trains-and-drivers.net/epage ... oll_NP20_1

The Cimarron & Pacific Railroad route for Train Simulator 2012 by Gary Gardner is a fictional route loosely based upon the historical Cimarron & Northwestern lumbering route and the St. Louis, Rocky Mountain & Pacific general carrier route, both of which were based out of Cimarron, New Mexico. The setting is circa 1910, from the high semi-desert around Cimarron to the alpine meadows and forests of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

The SLRM&P was known as the Swastika Line, because the RR adopted that symbol for its logo. This was long before the symbol fell upon harder times. By the way, when WWII came around, all the track of the SLRM&P was torn up and sold for scrap. Perhaps some of that iron was pounded into weapons against the AXIS.

This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.

Harry, it appears this will overwrite the existing C&P caboose (your 2011 version). I didn't install it but I looked at the file structure and it looks the same.

It also looks like the 36 ft box car will also overwrite the current C&P repaint. I did install the new box car and it replaced one of the four in the pack (your 2011 version).

I don't know if you intended this but I thought you might want to know.

Thanks for the new repaints. I'm looking forward to a run up the canyon with the new rolling stock. *!!thnx!!*

Hi Slick,

I kindof stated vaguely that these were reworked reskins. It was my intention to overwrite my previous attempts with the better skins.
