Just my opinion. Forget distributing it, fix what you want for yourself and wait for the original authors to fix all this if they care about it. Understand that you can do anything you want about modifying bin files without violating anyone's "intellectual property". It's only when you use someone's models that you run the risk of being taken to task. Never in our history has so much been made of so little.

You should have sent him a link to this article Bob, but, he wouldn't have seen the funny side to it, I'm sure. !*roll-laugh*!

I think you are right, here. I will step aside, available if someone needs to understand what to do to fix those issues.

Hey,

the problems with the ND unit I don't really understand. Yes, it is my fault that I don't create a ND version, and it will be follow when the decals are done.
Then it will be uploaded again, with decals and ND versions here on RWA.
Maybe you wait when I release it, or you try to mess around with the bin files.
About the brakes...can't really say much about it, because I use FanRailer's Physics, and I can use keycontrols for brakes, throttle and reverser and I have animations of the air compressor.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hello Sibell,

The main problem with the ND version is a graphics anomaly in three windows (there is a shot in one of my posts above). This is an issue I have not identified, that comes from the Miami ND original. It is also in FanRailer ND. Nothing to do with your work. A difficult bug to chase as nobody will use an ND unit to drive the train.

However the way to fix it, is very easy. Just duplicate the main loco bin file, then remove the two drivers child objects (children coding). After that, rename the loco as no engineer and anomaly fixed and a full working ND in all aspects, whatsoever.
In my computer I have fixed the anomaly in all your 3 UPs, YN3 and 2 of the CNW from your site (I only installed 2) as well as the brakes keystrokes (both main and ND).

The problem that was fixed earlier by OpenRailer90 (and posted in his own message), had to do I believe, with paths pointing to wrong places, probably old YN3 paths. By duplicating the main loco and removing the children I had no need to fix paths.

The problem with the train brakes is that the virtual brakes coding, which is scripted, was deleted and the train brake control module was edited to supply some of the virtual functions. As a result the keyboard strokes will not work to handle the brakes.
Btw, FanRailer 2014 mod on Miami CSX YN2 is OK with the brakes keystroke issues They can be controlled with handle mouse, HUD mouse and keyboard.

Finally, I have no plans as I said before, for publishing anything of those bins. We' ll wait until you are back. :-)
However I may publish an ND for Miami CSX, just fixing the anomaly and taking FanRailer modded main loco as the base.

jalsina, I never take a look on ND units, because I don't drive them, they are only a filler in consists for screenshots to have no crew in there.

But I agree with you after checking the ND versions, there are the window bug, but to solve this problem you can use your method right. !!*ok*!!

And maybe I missunderstand you, but I can drive every Dash 8 with keyboard without using the mouse. No idea what problem your engines have. !*don-know!*

It is only the train or air brakes keystrokes (apostrophe and semicolon) in the 3 UPs and YN3, for both main and ND locos (8 locos total).
The CNW locos keyboard brakes are OK. Obviously different people made the bins.
But the CNW NDs have still the graphics anomaly
