I was working on my Industrial Harbor route, and suddenly when I was switching from the editor and back into a free roam scenario, all the in the entire route were gone. I used a couple different track sets, and they all disappeared. In the free roam, some rolling stock still shows but the 2D map shows no tracks at all, no markers, etc. and when I try to run the free roam I get an error message about broken consists. If I try to add rolling stock, nothing even shows for me to place.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I have a ton of hours into this route.

I'm going to assume that you don't have a backup. Are you familiar with TSTools? I'm thinking you have something amiss with your RouteProperties file. TSTools can find the problem and fix it.

Unfortunately I don't have a backup of that version, only previous version. I was on a marathon of working on it for a few hours and suddenly that happened.

I do have TS Tools, I'll run the route tools and see if I can figure it out.

If you have a backup try putting the RouteProperties file from that into your recent one and see if that restores your missing assets.

So I tried cloning the route using TS Tools, and that actually produced a copy with all the tracks. I ran the "Check Selected Route" tool on the old one, and I ran the "Index Route Properties" tool but couldn't figure out what was wrong with the first version.

Anyway, with the cloned version having the tracks, we're off and running again!
