day at my local train modellers' club
Brought my son to "open doors" day at my local (Quebec City) train modellers' club.
He operated a N-Scale train using a iPad. I was surprised at this technology. Everything was entirely analog when I was a member of this club.
A quick mental calculation tells me this was 40 years ago!
I got to operate CN's GP9RM no. 7272, a lovely old rust-bucket still going strong.
I was using a remote control (not me in the picture), apparently it's all the rage in yards now.
