CSX Potash Corp Unit Train
Posted: Tue Apr 03, 2018 6:55 pmI just saw a CSX Potash Corp unit train headed south through Kingstree, SC. It was a long train with three diesels and about 100 cars. Most of the cars were lettered for Potash Corp but there were also a number of generic 3-bay covered hoppers. I did a quick search but couldn’t find any info about the movement.
I live on the CSX main between Florence and Charleston, SC. The original ACL line ran from Richmond to Tampa. I would love to know where this train originated and its destination. Sorry for the lack of pics. I couldn’t get setup in time.
