Small town evacuated as a precaution. No injuries reported at this time.

Kind of dovetails nicely with the title of TheOldDessauer's thread about CSX "melting down" - too literally.

Thank god no injuries for how serious of a derailment this is.

And people wonder why I get on to them for standing just a few feet away from the track... Glad no one was hurt. Could have turned out a LOT worse.

How are these trains blocked? All hazmat together, or just random?

We have to follow a HAZMAT safety guide for placement in a train. Some HAZMAT can be placed together and some need to have buffers between them. Looking at the amount of cars that derailed, it wouldn't matter about the buffers.
