1st question so I can diagnose this problem. do you have the gp60M pack I just released not too long ago? I suspect the new spartan engines might be calling a light that is not in the sd60 folder. Im not able to check right now so If one of you guys could go into the engine.bin and look at the child objects headlight_1 Headlight_2 and headlight_3 and see what the folder location is. report back pls

I looked into the folders that I released and the missing files are all there, and I checked the asset references in max and they all are from the sd60 folder. not one single one outside of the folder. I honestly dont know how you came to that issue. a first for me. I know it is a missing texture but looks like your rwp installer didnt install it all right.

like I said use rw_tools and look at the asset editor and engine.bin and see what is missing. or at least what your computer thinks is missing.

I actually have the exact same issue with the lights and I do NOT have the new gp60's. I did also notice that when running a light engine consist the locomotive seems to have excess friction as when the throttle is put to 0 at 10 or 15mph it only takes a few seconds to come to a complete stop on level ground with no brakes applied (I would say about 6 seconds on average)

I just installed my pack and I am having missing texture issues as well. Mine occur just when the lights are on. Seems to affect both the main and ditch lights. I do not have the GP60.

Spot on.... !!*ok*!!

Ian

I think the problem only occurs with folks who do not have the GP60M. I removed my GP60M and got the problem.
The sd60 headlight and flare and the main light bins are looking for these strings below in the SD60 lights files...

I edited my SD60 bins and added those 4 texture files from the GP60M to the SD60 LIGHTS Textures to make the SD60 stand alone.

Cheers,
Gordon.

The only packs I have from Ian are the SD80/90 and NS SD60 packs, which I just purchased this evening. No issues with either pack. !!*ok*!!

If you haven't all ready done so, do like suggested and re-install the .rwp file.

Im not sure how your bin is set up or what values you would have but I do believe on the dtg addons they have a section in them that literally refers to vehicle friction so under the assumption that yours is somewhat similar I would just say take whatever value you halve in there and just cut it in half at least or even quarter it.

I downloaded the new SD60, and it is great! Two things I had questions about is that the front right window is a solid texture, not see-through. Also, the engine seems to slow down at an extremely fast rate, coming to a stop without using brakes. Thanks
